Nestled in the center of the village of Aberedw, the Seven Stars Inn is the perfect location to stop for a drink or a meal, and is ideally suited for the traveller who wants to explore the gorgeous Welsh countryside that surrounds it.

The Seven Stars Inn has been a feature of the village of Aberedw for centuries. After closing briefly in 2018, it was purchased by a community fundraising drive and is now back to serving the hospitality needs of the village and the surrounding region.

The village of Aberedw is located deep in the heart of rural Mid Wales. Set amongst the rolling hills and between the Rivers Edw and Wye, it is ideally located for touring or countryside activities. The village is steeped in history, with Llewellyn’s Cave, and the remains of two medieval castles. The village is also home an 11th century church dedicated to St. Cewydd, the Welsh St. Swithin.

Great to see this place up and running again. Lovely welcome from friendly bar staff and great beers and menu. Sensibly priced tasty food and well kept Wye Valley beers. There seemed to be plenty of support from the local community – can’t wait to return.
